Come together for a day of bettering New Roots Garden and connecting with fellow gardeners and your neighbors!
About this Event
Friendly Reminder:
To ensure your volunteers are comfortable and safe please follow the dress code to the best of your ability below:
- Closed -Toe Shoes (preferably sturdy, like work boots or sneakers)* I would not recommend wearing white shoes as they will certainly get dirty.
- Long Pants (strongly suggested to protect against scratches, bugs, and plants)
- Comfortable, Breathable Shirt ( ideally long sleeves to protect from the sun and scratches)
- Hat(for sun protection)
- Work Gloves (if you have your own; otherwise, gloves will be provided)
- Sunscreen (apply before arrival and bring some extra along if re-applying is needed)
- Water Bottle (to stay hydrated throughout the day, but will also be providing water)
- Snacks (we provide light snacks for breaks )
