The Chicago Tap Summit adds another dimension, offering workshops and performances that connect dancers from around the world in a celebration of rhythm, culture, and community. Through powerful initiatives like The Legacy Project and the energetic Bronzeville Community Tap Jams, dancers are invited to explore where tradition meets innovation. It’s more than a class—it’s a cultural experience that inspires, educates, and moves you.

Ever wondered how tap dancers create those mesmerizing sounds? Now’s your chance to find out! Whether you're brand new or looking to refine your technique, tap dance offers a rich, rhythmic experience rooted in jazz music and cultural expression. Learn the art of percussion with your feet—wear traditional leather tap shoes or start with budget-friendly options featuring metal plates.
