About this Event
While your children are entertained by a Mud Pie Arts story-based session or some arts and crafts, you’re invited to complete a Quiz about parenting leave policies and then watch a film about the most recent policy change, Shared Parental Leave (SPL). To assess whether the film improves understanding of SPL, you’ll complete the Quiz again before having space to leave any suggestions you have for improving the policy offering in the UK.
This year, the Labour government launched a review of parenting leave policies which means this is a timely moment to reflect on the impact of these policies.
Plus the top three Quiz performers will receive a £5, £15 or £30 York Gift Card, available to spend at over 350 retailers in York!

The event space is located on the upper level which can be accessed via a lift (lift controls are not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user), and stairs; however, there are uneven surfaces and narrow walkways.
There is stepped access to the event space (1 unmarked step).

There is no parking at the venue but there are a variety of car parks and bus stops within walking distance
