Native blooms create a resilient, sustainable garden that supports local ecosystems and wildlife. These plants, adapted to local climate and soil conditions, require less water and fertiliser, while offering unique scents, textures, and vibrant beauty to your garden. Choosing native species helps create essential habitats for pollinators, while creating an endemic landscape. This workshop will show you how to design your own native floral garden and includes propagated plants to take home.
Requirements: Please wear a hat and enclosed shoes; and bring a snack and keep cup or water bottle.
This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the 'plant back into Planet'.
