A visit to the Adelaide Desalination Plant gives your students an understanding of sustainable water management and how seawater is treated to become safe, clean drinking water. Students will also learn about natural ecosystems, renewable energy, and the area’s significance to the Kaurna people, including a chance to explore the Bush Tukka Garden.

You may like to extend your visit and walk the self-guided Kauwi Interpretive Trail, on the outside perimeter of the ADP site and along the coast. This trail takes 30-60 minutes. Let us know when booking if you are planning to include this activity.
