Connected Autonomous Vehicles

 

The seminar will describe the current state of the technology required for safe operation of connected and autonomous vehicles. Paul will outline the problems to be solved for operation in various scenarios from mines to public roads, the building blocks and challenges in vehicles and infrastructure to make this happen, and how Cohda is supplying patented product to major global manufacturers to enable this.

 

Speaker - Dr Paul Gray,

CEO, Cohda Wireless

Paul studied Electronic Engineering at SA Institute of Technology then UniSA from 1982, completing a PhD in 1997. His early career included roles as researcher and project manager for a range of satellite and similar projects. In 2006 he joined Adelaide startup Cohda Wireless where he has had key roles in product and business development for 19 years, and is now the CEO. .
