About this Event
We’re delighted to invite you to the launch of the STAND Student Festival 2025–26 at Dublin City University!
This year’s Festival opens with a large-scale outdoor exhibition designed to spark conversations, encourage reflection, and inspire collective action on issues shaping our shared world. The theme of this year's echition is “WHAT IF…?” , an inspiring collaboration between students and artists from across Ireland and Rwanda’s African Leadership University (ALU).
This year’s theme invites students and staff to explore creative and hopeful responses to global challenges: What if we reimagined how we live, learn, govern, care, and create?
Through provocative What if? questions and striking creative responses, the exhibition showcases radically hopeful visions for the future grounded in global justice.
The launch event will also feature a live performance in partnership with Go Dance for Change, blending art, movement, and activism to bring the exhibition’s themes vividly to life.
