Welcome to the CPHC Postgraduate Conference
Date: Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Location: Birmingham School of Art
Join us for a day of exciting discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities with postgraduate students in the field of printing history.
To celebrate ten years of the research in the Centre for Printing History & Culture, we are holding a one-day conference to showcase the work of its doctoral community, past and present, and those postdoctoral researchers who have found their home in the Centre.
Speakers are considering a variety of subjects from the areas of publishing, printing, book-collecting and book-lending. The conference will provide a valuable opportunity for researchers to build connections, share methodologies and approaches, communicate in-progress research, and hear different perspectives on their ideas.
Following the final talk at 4pm, there will be a social in Birmingham city (location TBC).
About CPHC
As a joint research centre between Birmingham City University and the University of Birmingham, the CPHC encourages research into all aspects and periods of printing history and culture, as well as education and training into the art and application of printing.
