What to expect

Originally created by Margaret and John Nettlefold and inspired by the works of Gertrude Jekyll, the gardens reflect a deep love of design and horticulture.

Wander through vibrant seasonal borders, explore the restored walled garden with its rare crinkle-crankle wall, and follow a woodland path surrounded by giant Gunnera leaves and blooming Rhododendrons. You'll also find a historic sandstone rock garden and an impressive global plant collection, featuring flora from China, the Americas, and alpine regions.

  • Enjoy a calm retreat in beautifully designed natural surroundings

  • Explore themed garden zones, rock features, and woodland walks
