Discovery Cavern Tour
- Visiting Texas state's impressive natural-heritage attraction, cavern-explorers pass through winding corridors 180 ft underground, admiring nature-built formations.
- Tour the largest Cavern in Texas
- Departure time: Every 10-40 minutes
- Tour duration: around 75 minutes
- Walking distance: 3/4 mile
Hidden Wonders Tours
- Packed with formations that are very close to the trail.
- Unique and delicate formations are visible throughout the tour.
- Rooms are smaller, but still quite immense.
- Tour focuses a little more on science throughout.
- Expanded in 2023 to include three new rooms including Cathedral Canyon, the Ballroom (the deepest venue in Texas), and the Box Canyon with a sound and light show.
- Conveyor ride to the surface makes the walk out easier – but note that if you have challenges maintaining your balance, riding the conveyor may not be for you.* Departure time: Every 15-40 minutes

Good To Know
- Age ranges for child-specific tickets: 3 to 11 years, adult tickets: ages 12 and over
- Comfortable walking shoes which provide good traction on steep, wet surfaces recommended
- Strollers are not recommended due to the restrictive bends of the natural cavern passages and four sections of stairs (the longest flight consists of 35 steps up) as well as the strenuous nature of the actual tour
