What to Expect
The Florida Aquarium is one of the top aquariums in the country, home to over 15,000 aquatic creatures, including sharks, otters, alligators, and many more. Walk along the Wetlands Trail, past alligator-infested waters, and discover river streams where otters play and explore. Stroll along the Bays & Beaches habitats and touch a variety of species like stingrays and sharks at Stingray Beach. You'll find white-spotted bamboo sharks, southern rays, and more.
Check out Waves of Wonder, a colorful exhibit with jellies, clownfish, a pacific octopus, and more. Don’t miss the Coral Reef Gallery, offering one of the most beautiful and diverse ecosystems in the world.

The Florida Aquarium is located in downtown Tampa, easily accessible from the free streetcar route, between two cruise ship terminals, and near the Riverwalk, historic Ybor City, and Sparkman Wharf.
As a non-profit organization, the aquarium is committed to saving marine wildlife. Admission supports animal care, education initiatives, animal rescue, and coral restoration efforts.
