About Sidewalk Detroit
Sidewalk Detroit is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering livability for residents through spatial equity, public art, and community-driven design. Focused on neighborhood place-keeping and green space advocacy, Sidewalk Detroit curates place-based performances, installations and visual arts—most notably through the biennial Sidewalk Festival, showcasing more than 430 Detroit-based creatives.
