At Shatto Milk, nothing gets in the way of producing the freshest, most natural dairy products around. No hormones. No factory farms. No bull. Ok, a few bulls. We hope you’ll understand.
Here at Shatto Milk Company, we are committed to educating our youth and believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn that our food is produced on a farm and is not just a product at the local grocery store. Our goal is to make sure that your trip to our farm is a good learning experience where you will have fun and build memories that will last a lifetime!
In the barn:
- Learn how the milk flows from the cow into the bottling facility.
- Hear fun facts and education about our dairy cows and the farm.
- Pet the baby calves and look out for the cows!
In the bottling facility, see and hear:
- The bottling process.
- Various types of tanks and machinery.
- Answers to your toughest flavoring questions!
- Hmm … What about homogenization and pasteurization???
- Try out the milking machine!
Then, while in the Shatto Country Store (or on the porch if the weather is favorable):
- Hear stories about the history of the farm.
- Demo all of the current flavored milks!
After your tour is complete, a variety of tasty samples will be available for your enjoyment!
