Ever dreamt of sailing the open seas? Imagine feeling the wind in your hair and the sun on your face as you master the art of sailing. Harbor Yacht Clubs' two-day beginner US Sailing basic keelboat course is your perfect gateway to becoming a skilled sailor.
What We Offer
Two-day Beginner US Sailing Basic Keelboat Course for One:
- This introductory course offers a comprehensive overview of sailing fundamentals, designed for beginner-level skill sets.
- The group class, with a maximum of 4 students, helps novices learn the basics of sailing or serves as a review for individuals. This two-day weekend course provides hands-on experience on the water and certification for sailboats up to 25 feet in length.
- The second and final day of the program includes learning how to rig, sail, and dock Capri 22 sailboats without supervision.
- At the end of the course, participants will earn their US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification, making them eligible for step 2 of the course: Basic cruising.
- What to bring: Warm jacket, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.
