The Seattle Design Festival Block Party is our signature event — a two-day street fair at Lake Union Park featuring large-scale installations, live performances, and hands-on activities.
For our 15th anniversary, the Block Party dives into the theme of FEEDBACK — not just as critique, but as a powerful tool for discovery, connection, and meaningful dialogue.

🌿 Stop by Lake Union Park between 10 AM – 7 PM to explore:
✅ Built Installations — Experience temporary, interactive structures crafted by the SDF community. These aren’t just eye-catching; they promote collaboration, empower communities, and showcase design thinking in action. Many invite you to touch, listen, and interact, unlocking your own inner designer.
✅ Pop-Up Experiences — Throughout the Block Party, encounter short, dynamic sessions lasting 30 minutes to 2 hours. These might be hands-on workshops, interactive art, or surprise activities.
