What to Expect

Get ready for an exhilarating indoor skydiving experience at iFLY San Antonio! Upon arrival, you’ll be fitted with all the necessary gear and attend a specialized training session led by an expert flight instructor. They’ll guide you through the entire process, teaching you the safety measures and proper techniques to enjoy the experience.

You’ll then step into the flight chamber, an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that creates a safe, wall-to-wall cushion of air – similar to the conditions professional skydivers use for training. No prior experience is needed, and you’ll be fully supported by your instructor throughout the experience.

As the tunnel operator gradually increases the wind speed, you’ll float in the air at speeds ranging from 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph), feeling the adrenaline rush of free-fall. Your instructor will be right by your side, offering guidance and ensuring your safety during both of your 60-second flights in the wind tunnel.

The total experience lasts about 75 minutes, including gear-up, training, and two thrilling flights. Each session accommodates up to six people, but you’ll enjoy one-on-one flights with your instructor.
