About this Event
Our experience is curated by our professional chef to highlight Salt Lake City's vibrant food scene. Guests will sample award-winning cheeses, salamis, chocolates, and chicken sandwiches. In addition to delicious bites, the tour features well-researched insights into Salt Lake City’s development, including the influence of Native American tribes, Latter-day Saint pioneers, and immigrant communities. The walking route winds through a scenic stretch of downtown, showcasing a wide array of public art.
What to Expect
1. Pioneer Park
As we make our way to and from the market to sample cheeses, salamis, and chocolates, we’ll stroll alongside Pioneer Park and discuss the early foundation of the Salt Lake area.

Salt Palace Convention Center (Pass By)
On our route from Pioneer Park, we’ll pass and discuss various notable sites, including the Salt Palace. This venue has a rich history and was a key location for media coverage during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
Temple Square (Pass By)
As we continue toward City Creek Center for a brief rest, we’ll walk past Temple Square and explore its deep significance to the city and the Latter-Day Saint faith.
2. City Creek Center
We’ll pause for a break at City Creek Center—a scenic spot perfect for relaxing. Here, we’ll enjoy a bite of caramel apple and take in the surroundings.

3. Gallivan Center
From City Creek, the walk continues down historic Regent Street. We’ll sample a Nashville hot-style chicken sandwich and explore the city's vibrant public art. We’ll also pass by the Gallivan Center, a hub for events including Olympic festivities and the Twilight Concert Series.

4. Salt Lake City Architecture & Final Tastings
Toward the end of the tour, we’ll explore notable historic architecture, such as The Judge Building—featured in Murder Among the Mormons on Netflix. We'll wrap up with more delicious samples and a few sips of locally celebrated whiskies at a favorite local spot.
