Get the thrill of skydiving without jumping out of a plane at this indoor skydiving experience in Roseville, near Sacramento. Inside a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel, you'll feel the rush of free fall with wind speeds reaching up to 175 miles per hour (282 kilometers per hour). This experience includes two one-on-one flight sessions with a certified instructor, giving you personalized guidance and confidence, even if it’s your first time.
Each flight simulates about 60 seconds of free fall, similar to the time you'd experience during an actual skydive. All flight gear—helmet, suit, and goggles—is provided, and your instructor will be with you every step of the way. After your flights, you’ll receive a personalized flight certificate to commemorate the adventure. This is a safe and exciting way to try skydiving in a controlled environment, ideal for first-timers, families, and adrenaline-seekers alike.
What to expect:
Arrive at iFLY Sacramento and kick off your experience with a training session led by a certified flight instructor. You’ll gear up in a flight suit, helmet, and goggles, then learn how to safely fly inside the powerful 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel—no jumping or prior experience required.
Once inside the tunnel, your instructor will guide you as wind speeds gradually increase, lifting you into the air for an unforgettable free-fall sensation. You'll experience two separate 60-second flights, floating effortlessly on a cushion of air at speeds between 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The wind tunnel offers a safe, stable flying environment, with your instructor by your side throughout the entire experience.
Each session lasts approximately 75 minutes and includes up to six participants, though flights are conducted one-on-one. Perfect for first-time flyers, families, and anyone curious about skydiving in a controlled and exciting setting.
