At Umbrella, we pride ourselves on our commitment to diversity and inclusive aged care.
Every year Umbrella participates in the Perth Pride Parade, and this year we are excited to invite you to march with us. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community and support our Rainbow Migrants.
Whether you're a first-time marcher or a seasoned participant, your presence will make a meaningful impact. Let's come together to celebrate love, equality, and the vibrant diversity that makes our community strong.
This year's theme is We Are Here; asserting the visibility, resilience, and unity of the LGBTQIA+ community. Inspired by historic activism, it emphasises that queer people have always existed and will continue to take up space unapologetically. The theme connects Western Australia to global struggles and recognises both past and present fights for equality.
Please note that this event will require a few hours of your time; most likely starting in the mid afternoon and ending around 9pm.
