About this Event
The Capital Breaths & Beats Ride is an annual Perth based charity cycling event that raises funds to fight heart and lung disease. This year we have two routes—a 34km scenic loop or a challenging 60km hills ride both starting and finishing at Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth.
Last year over 250 riders joined us and we’re expecting even more this year!
What you get as a rider if you sign up today:
- Free Ride Jersey + Early Bird Pricing
- Go in the draw to win several prizes from 99 Bikes such as a $3,000 road bike.
- If you raise over $2000 you'll go into the draw to win a free trip for 2 to Rowley Shoals sponsored by True North adventure cruises.
After the event, riders and non riders are invited to our post-event celebration at Sir James Mitchell Park. There's live music, delicious food trucks, and fun activities for the whole family. Join us for a day of family friendly fun and also help raise money for Heart and Lung Research (when you sign up we'll show you how people can sponsor you as a rider).
The Breaths & Beats Ride for Research raises critical funds for the Heart and Lung Research Institute of WA (HLRI WA) helping to improve the lives of those suffering from advanced heart and lung diseases in Western Australia.
